  • Second Annual Wine Tasting Event:

    April 26, 2014

    Join us on April 26, 2014 from 2-7 pm in the Bond Building for our Second Annual Wine Tasting Event.  $20 per ticket, includes 12 tastings.

  • Speaker Series **:


    A variety of historical topics will be presented in the Auburn Church at 1:30pm once a month.  The speaker series will begin in June and continue through November.

  • Wedding Dress Exhibition with Reception:

    June 22


    This exhibition will highlight the history and development of the wedding dress from 1840 to 1950, revealing fascinating details about the lives of the wearers and offering insight into wedding customs of the period.

    Speaker Susan Powers will present a talk at 12:00pm and at 2:00pm.  Participants may choose which talk they will be attending and then all participants will attend the wedding reception from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

  • 42nd Annual Pioneer School:

    July 7-11

    We will offer boys and girls ages 8-12 a unique opportunity to explore the pioneer experience in the Western reserve through the daily making of hands on projects, observing artisans, enjoying music/square dancing and pioneer games.

    Space is limited so pre registration is required.

  • Antique Power and Steam Show **:

    July 25-27

    Fascinating exhibition and demonstrations of steam and other power driven machines that led to our Industrial and Agricultural Revolution.

  • Raccoon County Music Festival **:

    August 16

    Day long festival celebrating bluegrass and folk music performed by a variety of musicians.

  • Clam or Steak Bake:

    September 20

    Come enjoy and clam bake or a steak dinner.
