Civil War Reenactment:
May 26-27, 2012*
Commemorate the four-year 150th anniversary of the Civil War! Reenactors will be in authentic period dress. This year is our 28th annual Reenactment and we will be featuring our Historic Artisans, artillery battles, education programs, and traditional music. Hours are 10am - 5pm. General Admission: Adults: $7.00, Kids 6-12: $4.00, Golden Buckeye: $6.00, Members & Children 5 and under are FREE. Ohio Chautauqua:
July 3-7, 2012
A week-long program series featuring our theme “When Ohio Was The Western Frontier.” The troupe features naturalist and folk legend Johnny Appleseed, frontier aristocrat Margaret Blennerhassett, Iroquois leader Chief John Logan, Lewis & Clark expedition member York, and hero of the Battle of Lake Erie Oliver Hazard Perry. In this, our 40th year of hosting Pioneer School, children ages 8 to 12 will experience pioneer life in the Western Reserve, from handicrafts and music to food preparation.
