The scent of autumn in Geauga County
For generations, the second weekend of October has meant one thing in Geauga County: the aroma of apples simmering over a wood fire. The Apple Butter Festival & Ox Roast brings that tradition to life across the historic Village grounds.
Watch the copper kettles bubble, take a turn at the stirring paddle, and make a full fall day of it with the whole family.
What to expect
- Stir the apple butter in copper kettles over an open fire
- The Ox Roast — hot roast sandwiches, fresh cider, and apple fritters
- Wine & Beer Garden Tent
- The Cow & Pig Raffle drawing — winners drawn at the festival
- Balloon artist, bouncy houses, and barrel train rides for the kids
- Apple-peeling competition, pumpkin carving, and corn hole

Choose your admission and check out securely through Stripe. Your ticket is emailed to you as soon as the payment goes through, so you can print it or simply show it on your phone at the gate.

Each ticket admits one person for one day of the festival, Saturday, October 10 or Sunday, October 11. A printed ticket is not required: showing your confirmation on your phone is enough, as long as your name appears on the attendee list. Senior and Veteran tickets are sold up to two per checkout, so please check out again if you need more.
