Century Village Museum invites you to a lecture by Dr. Molly Sergi from Kent State University Geauga Campus on October 19, 2024, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM in the Bond Building.
Dr. Sergi will discuss Emily Nash, a woman from Geauga County who worked as an undertaker in the 19th century, preparing bodies for burial.
The talk will feature stories about local residents and their deaths, including murders, suicides, and other unusual deaths during this era of mourning.
Light refreshments will be served.
The cost is $10.00 per person.
