Geauga County Historical Society Welcomes Dino Days to Its Century Village Campus

BURTON, OHIO — June 16, 2025 — The Geauga County Historical Society will be welcoming Dino Days to the Lennah Bond Activity Building on the campus of the Century Village Museum and Historical Education Center on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event will take place from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

“Children of all ages will get to see the fun side of history,” said Andrew Mizsak, Manager of External Relations and Government Affairs for the Geauga County Historical Society. “Who doesn’t like dinosaurs?”

This adventure in paleo fun will bring entertainment, science, and history to Century Village in a way that will leave attendees with memories to last a lifetime.

“Think about this: thousands of years ago, dinosaurs roamed the earth — and that includes what is now Geauga County. A stegosaurus could have walked where the Bond Building is now… you never know. That’s why bringing an event like this is exciting — it links today’s generation to the prehistoric past in a way they will enjoy,” Mizsak continued.

Ticket information for the two Dino Days shows can be found on the Geauga County Historical Society’s website: www.centuryvillagemuseum.org. There will be two shows on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

“Ohio is rich in prehistoric history — from fossils being found in all 88 counties to mastodons roaming this part of the world. Dino Days will bring that history to life,” Mizsak concluded.
