As part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration, the Geauga County Historical Society presents a special exhibit exploring the evolution of connection. Visitors will examine historical artifacts and immersive displays—including early telephone technology installed in Burton—to understand how communication shaped local communities and the nation. Open Fridays and Saturdays in January at the Century Village Museum.
Experience the Battle of Anzio at Century Village Museum on February 28, 2026. This full-day WWII living history fundraiser features immersive reenactments, weapons demonstrations, and marching drills to break the stalemate at the Gustav Line. A lunch counter will be available in the Bond Building. Admission is by donation only.
